o maior desastre a que podemos assistir hoje é o ambiental, que depende da nossa força para atuar em conjunto na manutenção dos bens privados e públicos.
precisamos de consolidar os esforços para que o lançamento de carbono na atmosfera se reduza.
seja através da ONU ou na comunidade local, somos todos compelidos a melhorar os nossos consumos. consumir menos individual e coletivamente é um imperativo.

sobre o silêncio e sobre a segurança da informação: na discussão complexa entre conhecimento e confidencialidade, o que é mais importante? saber ou permanecer na ignorância?
e no retorno da resposta a esta questão, quando a nossa curiosidade nos leva a questionar quem somos e porque agimos do modo que agimos, talvez essa resposta esteja na genética e na análise massiva de todos os humanos.
o que até pode estar já a ser feito: mas se o é, ou não, talvez não interesse. mais importante será que em vez de continuarmos nessa dúvida, queiramos e criemos as condições para ser possível aceder a bases de dados com informação genética sobre todos nós.
mas o silêncio... para que serve o silêncio se tudo se sabe, se tudo é conhecido e desconhecido, o conhecimento perde-se nos momentos, entre a informação que importa ou que simplesmente imaginamos que importa.
tudo e nada. tudo e nada em todos os momentos.

and returning to the answer to this question, when our curiosity leads us to question who we are and why we act the way we act, maybe the answer is in the genetics and in the massive analysis of all humans.
what can be already done: but if it is, or not, maybe doesn't matter. more important would be that instead of remaining with that doubt, we want and create the conditions to be able to access data bases with genetic information of all of us.
but the silence... for what the silence if all is known, if all is known and unknown, knowledge lost in moments, between the information that matters or we simply imagine it matters.

serenidade de relógios
com marte em mente
se lá vamos, e somos capazes de suportar um robot ali
devíamos ser também capazes de fazer robots viajar para dentro de um fogo sem controlo e aí, fazer uso de materiais para controlar esse fogo.
não podemos dar-nos ao luxo de continuamente perdermos homens que combatem fogos, e não podemos dar-nos ao luxo de ver árvores extinguidas pelo fogo, dias após dias.
ou... será possível controlar uma bomba para explodir um material num lugar cheio de gente, rodeado de fogo, e controlar o fogo sem ferir as pessoas?

we should also be capable of making robots travel inside a fire out of control and there, make use of materials to control that fire.
we can't afford to continuously lose men fighting fires, and we can't afford to see trees extinguished by fire, days after days.
or.... is it possible to control a bomb to explode a material on a place crowded of people, surrounded by fire, and control the fire without harming the people?

more or less, we can say another quarter of year is gone and more or less we can say it was a great quarter.
everything is better than it was before, that's for sure.
but youtch weren't expecting to hear that from me; youtch already knew that.
there was a new event around kony - and people defending him while most of us see him as a bad person. no matter what is your opinion, i am sure we both agree the place where he chose to live needs to be upgraded and everyone around needs new opportunities.
a particular event happened this week with the pope in cuba.
particular events here and there are making the difference and the world is becoming more human.
that's a good thing for the humans.
